On September 3rd, 2014 the Santa Rosa community and Rosa Park Famm lost a brother. Tyler Brattin was a little brother to all the lives he had touched. To celebrate Tyler's life friends and family got together at Santa Rosa Skatepark to have a Memorial Jam/BBQ all day. It was a beautiful sunny day full of faces old and new, all there to ride for Tyler. I hadn't seen most of these guys in years so it was like a Rosa Park reunion of sorts. People came from all over to pay their respects to the young man that we all love and cherish dearly. Below are just some of the photos I have from the NFTB Jam. Ever since it opened (7/1/2014), I've been trying as often as I can to get down to the new SoMa West Skate Park in San Francisco to get HOT ROD with my folks. This park is a breathe of fresh air for the locals of SF, even though the whole city really is a humongous skatepark on hills, I'm sure it's nice to have another spot the locals can go to shred without the hassle of security guards and the fuzz you would normally encounter elsewhere in the city. Here' s a montage of recent U-Turn tours made down to SoMa West featuring ONE HUNDRED PERCENT HOT ROD STUNTS by Philly McGilly, Eddy Mon$, Antonio Carlos, Mickey Ridenbaugh, Danny Nguyen, & a bunch of a SoMa park locs. If you get a chance to pack a van full of rippers and head down there, I highly suggest you do cuz the place is fucking fun brah; so many rad obstacles to fart around on with yo homeboys!

Thank Jah it's FoF & to top it all off the TMNT movie is out in theaters today so you better believe jah boys finna grab a slice of pie and go watch that shit! Joe Day 2014 was full of ONE HUNDRED PERCENT HOT ROD goodness! It was a huge turn out at Our Girl , Rosa Park, with friends and family getting together in the name of Joseph Hyland. The sun was blazing, the Gnarbecue was grilling, and stuntmen were hucking carcass left and right. There was a lot of trash can ollie-ing, beer spilling, 2Clipz SHITHOUSE-ing, Metal Miking, near head-on colliding, Nose Blunt Sliding, safety meetings, Element rapping, and just all around hot rod stunting going on all day, from noon to skumset. I didn't get a chance to take any photos but I did have the GoPreezy on record all day. Things really got hyped once the Best Trick Contest got going with our very own One Ugly Lookin' Kid, Nards, taking the cake with a banger of a stunt( Peep the video Below yo!) Here's a video tribute to B's box. It was one of the funnest things to grind at the Slab. When the Slab was no more, B took it to the park. It surprisingly had a long run at the skate park until one day it was just gone. It may have been stolen or city workers thought it was trash and hauled it off either way it was sad to

There is no finer way to end the day than by throwing air biscuits over Maiden as the Santa Rosa sun sets behind you. The ROSA SKUMSET, the last few hours of sun, skum, & fun at ROSA PARK; the last chance to get that last bit of #ONEHUNDREDPERCENTHOTRODSUNTIN in before retreating home or to the bars of the Skum District to get really weird and time travel. It's what the skummies like to call, "The Golden Hour" when the sun is at it's lowest and temperatures have declined down to sweater weather...the perfect time to get shredical! It's when all the beers have been drunk and has absorbed into the bloodstream giving you just enough energy to pump out all the tricks you been trying all that day. It's the hour to go all out while your boys use up all their data & digital space filming you on their iFins. It's that moment when you either get a trick before the streetlights come on or you throw in the towel, have a safety meeting, crack a brew cuz ROSA PARK's humps & bumps will be there the next time you roll around for a good ol' ROSA SKUMSET.
