TRASH CAN'T

So the ongoing joke with the squad has been that every time we'v gone to Napa park we walk away with a mini edit. 

And so far that's been true thanks to luxury and convenience of always having an HD camera at the ready(i.e. iFin, smartphone). 

This night the SQUAD consisted of myself, Dirls, Minard, and Mikey driving. We jammed out after the two shop boys got off work. When we got there the place was empty! That was the first time I'd seen the place with absolutely no people in it. Took a bit to warm up seeing that the temperature has dropped quite a bit, it's most definitely beanie season.Having the whole place to yourself with yer boys is the fucking best! 

With the time change and cold weather here, I highlt suggest you go out to Napa at night because there'll probably be no one there. CHEERS & ROCK ASS!

WINE COUNTRY TOURS

Ever since the new skate park opened in Napa I've gone there almost every other day to shred with the homies. And every time we go we end up stacking a bunch of clips. This time was no different. Willi hit me up and said he got permission from the missus to go skate so we loaded the mini van with Mikey Smialek, Babyboots, Dirly $'z, Walter Joe and myself. We had to make a pit stop in St Helena on the way to Napa so Walter could be with his mama. So we got to stack a few clips at St Helena park before leaving to Napa Park. Next stop was In-N-Out to get some animal fries and double doubles and then it was off to get shreddy again. When we got there it was a bit crowded but that's to be expected with such a brand new park and it didn't impede the boys from getting one hundred percent hot rod. Here's the sesh all filmed a few hours ago.

You're blowing it if you haven't checked out Napa's new skate park yet. The general consensus around here is that it's fun as FUCK! So get off your phones and go skate with your friends.

GETTIN' LIT in SANTA ROSA

Phil Philms brought his lights out to play a few nights before we left for our RV trip. So we decided to light up the QP at the Rosa park and stack some night moves before heading out into the streets. After a few warm up lip tricks the dudes thought it'd be a good idea to set up the barrier atop the QP as an extension. Turns out they were right, with the help of the homie, Kendrick , holding the thing up...the sesh was on! Babyboots, UG, and Skinner all stacked some rad stunts and then it was on to the next spot. All filmed on an iFin 5S and edited while on the road in the BAR VEE. Stay tuuuuuuned for more night moves!

BRICKSQUUUAD SHANE

Shane is the epitome of a skate rat. He is down to do anything it takes to make something or a spot skateable. Skate park Santa left a barrier at the Rosa Park a few weeks ago and ever since then it's been shredded to bits with Randy even getting a taste of the action. So I showed up to the park to find Shane and Angel getting down on the barrier. I was surprised they were skating it so hard seeing that it moves around alot since it doesn't weight too much. But Shane tells me later, "I spent 20 bucks on bricks today!" Turns out he went to the hardware store to stack up on bricks to weight the fucker down. Good call Shane! Coz that thing is fun as hell to grind on! Groms take notes because Shane is on some "other ass shit!"

CALI HOT BOYZ in MONTE RIO

A few weeks ago Le Captain and I decided we wanted to get out of town for day so Mike decided to pack Cool Runnings with some homies and jam out to Monte Rio. So the day came and I had completely forgot about the trip, luckily I had woken up at a decent hour and intercepted Le Captain's courtesy call.  "You ready to go to Monte Rio?" the Captain asks me as I'm dropping the kids off at the pool. "Uuuuuuh yea, let's FUGGIN' DO IT!" I mumbled in response. "Alright, we're coming to get ya!" I had no idea who was all in the RV, all I could see were the Cap and Dirly. When I opened the side door I'm greeted by the Founding father of the F.o.F. in a B-Boy stance and my boy Bryan Walton coolin' at the dining table. I'm hyped, we got a solid crew of CALI HOT BOYZ and COOL RUNNINGS was ready to go! We get there and the park is pretty much empty aside from a rad dad and his lil mini shredder so we were juiced to get shreddy, but not before some afternoon Broga stretches of course. Trevor B, Hip Hop J, Christian, Mose, and Christian showed up to the park a little later and the sesh was in full swing. We all managed to stack some clips on our phones and Chalker evem got some cool clips on the Dad Cam. We spent a good chunk of the day out there and even managed to make it back to the Sao's for Sina's birthday BBQ. We shredded all day, stacked some clips, ate some oyst

ers, and murdered in some flip cup...I'd say it was damn good Saturday.Summer 's never over when you VACATION FOREVER! 

Jamboyage

Our good friend, Capt. Minard has been steady stacking miles on the Jambo lately. This one Saturday, in particular, was rad because it was the furthest Capt. Minard had driven the Jambo to date besides the Maiden Voyage to the beach. Mike, Eddy, Toan and Steve had already planned on going to see J5 in Oakland and I was fortunate enough that Eddy had an extra tickey for yer boy so I hopped in the Jambo and we jammed out. We got out to Oakland with time to spare so we parked by Lake Merritt and ventured out into the streets. The Rats managed to stack a few clips before stopping off at the Home of Chicken & Waffles to grub before the show. It was a successful RV trip and quite possibly the best show I've ever been to. BUCKET LIST SHIT! CHECK!!!

Myk's 26 Trix Barfday Mix

It was yer boy, Mike Minard's birthday last month on the 27th so we got together at Our Girl, Rosa Park and filmed some clips. Mike was on a mission to stack clips! As soon as we get to the park Mike starts warming up and looking through his Barfday trick list. He already had this idea of doing tricks that mirrored one another. So he'd do a 50-50 180 and then do the same trick switch or he'd do a backside 180 trick and then in turn do a frontside 180 trick. this idea reminded me of most Arto Saari parts because he would do that same thing, do a trick and then do the opposite or switch version right after. Skinner was there for moral support and after a while a bunch of homies filtered into the park to see if Mike could stack all his clips. Mike finished his list and could have stacked way more if he wanted too but we decided to go drink some beer and eat some pizza instead thanks to Stormy having the joog on the spot. Thanks to everyone that came out and shredded and thanks to Mike for being birthed, Happy Barfday brah!
