We get to St Helena Park and all Eddy and I could think about was munching these dollar chicken tacos from Aztec Grill. I had a spicy love affair with them tacos, foreal. That was breakfast for me, cuz I couldn't eat Bacon on account of the holiday which totally put a damper on the start of my day. Once said tacos were devoured I go to the nearest trash receptacle to toss some onion covered napkins. I was taken aback when I heard a familiar voice. Before I could even look up to see who it was, I hear him say, "Finally!" The planets had aligned, the silly Universe at work in the most awesome way. It was my good friend, Walker. I hadn't seen this fool in forever, at least before he left for college and that has to be almost a decade ago. Before I even met the dude, Ninja Tran had told me about this redheaded kid that switch backside flipped the Reno double set. I couldn't believe it, mind you we were all around the ages of 13 or 14 when this happened so to hear that someone did that trick down that set and did it amazingly clean was mind blowing. Just a few days after hearing that story from Ninj, I met Walker and his friend David Cole at North Coast Boardshop. They were up from Angwin and St Helena and were looking to shred some Rosa spots. Before heading out to shred that day, Walker and I played a game of S.K.A.T.E. in the NC parking lot...& PFFFFFFFF! I don't even remember who won(he most likely did) all I remember is that it was an intense 1st game ever and if that game would be any indication of the great things that Walker would be getting into, it was looking good. Dude was consistent as hell, had a good style and best yet, a humble attitude. It was good to catch up with ya homie and mahalo for letting me fan out on ya and film like old days.
